With growing watchlists, the need to maintain those lists also grows. Every record that a person is watching is added to the Watchlist view, which is an alternative view to the Inbox view:

A watchlist can contain requests, problems, workflows, tasks, releases, projects, project tasks, risks, and product backlogs. To make it easier to find a specific record on the watchlist, or to remove records that have the status ‘Completed’ from the watchlist, for example, two filters are now available on this view. The ‘Type’ filter filters on record type, and the ‘Status’ filter on all records that are set to a specific status.
