Seemingly, because in preparation for many more user interface updates that will be rolled out incrementally in the next few months, the basis for a complete new layout is put into place with this change. Please read the ‘Important Messages’ section for more information. This update should provide a preliminary glimpse of the new look and feel of the self-service portal.
