When a Xurrent® account is set up as an integration point with an organization that uses another service management tool, it can be useful to be able to quickly view a request in the external tool. For this reason, it is now possible to create a custom link that includes the ID of the record in that system, stored in Xurrent as Supplier request ID.
This custom link can be set up in the ‘Custom Links’ section of the Settings console, by defining a name for the link (such as: ‘Request in Supplier Tool’) and a URL which includes the supplier request ID as a parameter , such as:
https://supplier.tool.com/{request.supplier_request_id}
The link is then available from the Actions menu of the selected request in View mode for all specialists. Following it accesses the same request in the external tool.
