We are delighted to welcome Jeannine Balsiger to Xurrent’s DACH team as Business Development Director. Based in Munich, she will help organizations in the DACH region benefit from new service management capabilities.
Jeannine brings over 15 years of sales experience in the tech industry. She worked the DACH region from Scotland, England, and, once Brexit was a fact, Germany.
She was educated to be a druggist, and selling was always in her DNA. Jeannine started her career at IBM as a call center agent but quickly moved on to the sales side, working with both partners and customers. After nearly eight years at IBM, she worked for two years as a Customer Service Representative for the health insurance company Cigna. After that, she went back to work in sales for companies like Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Centrify, Tripwire (security and integrity management solutions), and autonomous endpoint management solutions provider Adaptiva.
While at Centrify, she met Xurrent’s Tomas Wenz, who was working for a partner of Centrify at the time. A couple of years later, she also got to know Xurrent´s VP of Sales & Marketing, David Griffith. They kept in touch, and Tomas was always very enthusiastic about Xurrent and how it is a great service management platform that is very easy to use; refreshingly different from other ITSM/ESM providers. And then, Xurrent called to ask if she was interested in making the switch to service management.
I’ve experienced IT service management solutions before, from the customer side, and I can see how Xurrent is much more user-friendly and transparent. Xurrent is a unique platform that is much loved by customers, and I believe it sells itself. I look forward to immersing myself in Xurrent and introducing customers to all its capabilities.

A Note From the Road: What SPARK Taught Me About Time
During the second SPARK event in Antwerp, I stood at the back of a training room and watched a customer build a custom integration with our new iPaaS, wiring Xurrent to another system in her stack that had never talked to it before. No services rep doing it for her. No statement of work, no project plan with a kickoff and a go-live date. Just a person with live beta access in her hands, connecting two systems by hand, and finishing it before her coffee went cold. A year ago that would have been a multi-week project with a budget attached. She looked up, a little surprised it had actually worked, and said something I have not stopped thinking about since. She said it just gave her her week back.
