To protect organizations against malicious use of the Mail API, the maximum number of email messages that gets processed for any person over a 4-hour period is limited.
The limit depends on the roles that the sender of the email has in Xurrent. For the End User role this limit has increased from 10 to 25. For the Specialist role the maximum was 20, but that has become 25. For the Service Desk Analyst role the limit is still 100 requests in 4 hours.
If this limit is exceeded, the email that did not get processed still gets logged in the ‘Inbound Email’ section of the Settings console. Such incoming email messages are marked with a red dot so that a Xurrent account administrator can easily find it.
