After opening a configuration item (CI) in Edit mode, a configuration manager is able to relate people to it as users. That has always been possible. Now it is possible to do this the other way around as well.
When configuration managers will notice that they can open person records in Edit mode. When they do, they are only able to relate CIs to this person.

Naturally, configuration managers can also remove these assets from person records. But they can only link or unlink CIs that are either registered in their organization’s Xurrent account and CIs which support responsibility has been transferred to a team of their organization’s Xurrent account. Whenever a configuration manager is not allowed to update a CI, it will not be possible to remove this CI from its user’s person record, i.e. the small Remove (-) button will not be available.
