As most changes consist of several tasks, it can be interesting for an organization to gather data about the completion duration of the individual tasks. Two new reports have been created for this purpose. The first is the report ‘Task Completion Duration’, which presents the average time it took to complete a task during specific months, weeks or days.

The second report that is now available is called ‘Average Task Completion Duration’. This report shows how many tasks were completed within 2 days, between 2 and 7 days, etc. It provides an easy way to look up the tasks that took an exceptionally long time to complete.

An AI SRE that knows your incidents
Most AI SREs are pattern matchers trained on public data. They know what a memory leak looks like in the abstract. They don't know that your payments-api has a flaky liveness probe everyone ignores, that the checkout team owns the retry policy, or that the last three "database incidents" were actually cache misconfigurations. That knowledge lives in your postmortems, your Slack channels, and the heads of two senior engineers.
