A Dashboard can be created by adding any of the reports from the ‘Reports’ section of the Analytics Console. It can be designed by adding the required reports, and then resizing and/or dragging and dropping the reports into the desired position on the dashboard. Filters can be applied too, either at the dashboard level or at the report level. When one or more filters are applied, the report can become very specific, without that being obvious from the report name. That’s why a description field for a report within a dashboard is now added.

To add a description to a report in a dashboard, edit the dashboard, then edit the report, then update the new Description field.
