Specialist Updates: Your inbox, your way.

In the first week of May, we introduced updates to the Specialist Interface. We're excited about these enhancements, which mark a significant step forward in Xurrent's UI/UX and offer a modern, streamlined experience aligned with our mission to be a market leading ITSM solution.

We also recognize that the Inbox experience is a personal one. Feedback from the recent design survey indicated that some users may not yet be aware of the customization options available in the new Specialist updates.

We’ve introduced three layout styling options to personalize your workflow, accessible from the ellipsis menu and applied globally across all pages of the application.

Single Pane: Displays a simple layout with the table view only. When a record is selected, it opens in a new page, replacing the table.

Two Pane View: Preserves the original inbox style, allowing users to maintain their existing workflow. The table appears on the left, and the selected record opens on the right, enabling easy navigation through data while viewing record details.

Dynamic View (Default): - Automatically switches between Single Pane and Two Pane views based on screen size. On larger screens, it shows Two Pane for efficiency. On smaller screens, it shifts to Single Pane for a more optimized experience.

Secondary View Panel – Use It or Lose It. Your Choice. We understand that preferences for the secondary view panel vary. For users who rely on it daily, the new prominent placement improves visibility and access. For others, the screen space may be better used for the inbox or other tasks. The panel can easily be collapsed using the highlighted arrow, giving you control over how you work.

Your selection will be remembered across the application and can be changed at any time.
