Reservations make it possible for organizations to allow their people to reserve certain configuration items for a period of time. A configuration item can obtain a certain status, however, that no longer allows it to be reserved. That is the case for CIs with the status ‘Lost or Stolen’, ‘Archived’, ‘Removed’, or ‘To Be Removed’. As of now, configuration items that have the status ‘Undergoing Maintenance’, ‘Broken Down’ or ‘Being Repaired’ are also not available for reservation.
