The Broadcast feature is a great way to send a message to a specific group of Xurrent users, displayed right in the Specialist and/or Self Service interface. These messages can be of type Outage (or Available, when the outage is over), Warning or Information and can be displayed for any duration. It is even possible for end users to subscribe to a request group directly from a broadcast. The selection of the audience for a broadcast has just been made more flexible, by adding four new broadcast visibility options:
- People of the following organization(s)
- People of the following organization(s) and their descendants
- People of the following site(s)
- Members of the following skill pool(s)

Broadcasts can be created by service desk managers and administrators from the ‘Broadcasts’ section of the Settings console.
