Integration Platform Overview

The native iPaaS platform and the other ways to connect Xurrent: pre-built solutions, connectors, APIs, webhooks, and the MCP server.

Xurrent connects to the rest of your tool estate through Xurrent iPaaS, a built-in integration platform, supplemented by a catalog of pre-built integrations, open REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and the MCP server. This page introduces the platform and points to the rest of the section.

Why it matters

Service management only works if the records reflect what is actually happening across your estate. That means monitoring tools, identity providers, developer tooling, and communication platforms all need to reach Xurrent, and Xurrent needs to reach back.

Xurrent iPaaS is native rather than a separate purchase or third-party license, so it understands Xurrent records directly, including Requests, Workflows, Configuration Items, and service catalog entries. Integrations react to platform events through webhooks and automation rules, with no separate integration tier to license or operate.

The building blocks

BlockWhat it is
Pre-built SolutionsProduction-ready integrations installed from the App Store.
Open ConnectorsConfigurable building blocks for connecting any API-enabled system.
Native WorkflowsMulti-step automation that spans systems.
Data transformationVisual field mapping between Xurrent and external schemas on a low-code canvas.

Ways to integrate

iPaaS. The native platform, for connecting systems without writing integration code. See iPaaS Documentation and the connector catalog.

APIs. Open REST and GraphQL APIs for building directly against Xurrent. Full reference lives on the developer portal.

Webhooks. Push platform events to external systems as they happen. See Webhooks.

MCP server. An open Model Context Protocol server that lets any MCP-compatible AI client work with your Xurrent data and actions in plain language. Because it is built on an open standard, you can bring Xurrent into the AI client you already use rather than switching tools. See MCP.
