Roles

Roles define access rights and permissions for users within Xurrent accounts.

By relating a role of an account to a person, this person is given additional access rights within the Xurrent service. A person can have multiple roles of multiple accounts. The following roles are available for each account:

The Specialist role is a prerequisite for each of the other roles, with the exception of the Auditor, Account Designer and the Account Administrator roles.

A directory account is a special type of account in which organizations, people and sites can be maintained. The following roles are available to provide access to the information stored in a directory account:

Whenever a person had a role added or removed, this is logged in the Permission log, accesible through the ‘System logs’ section of the Settings console.
