Raygun Integration Guide

Raygun gives you a window into how users are really experiencing your software applications. Detect, diagnose and resolve issues that are affecting end users with greater speed and accuracy.

What can Xurrent IMR do for Raygun users?

With Raygun's Integration, Xurrent IMR sends new Raygun alerts to the right team and notifies them based on on-call schedules via email, text messages(SMS), phone calls(Voice), Slack, Microsoft Teams and iOS & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed. Xurrent IMR provides your NOC, SRE and application engineers with detailed context around the Raygun alert along with playbooks and a complete incident command framework to triage, remediate and resolve incidents with speed.

You can also use Alert Rules to custom route specific Raygun alerts to specific users, teams or escalation policies, write suppression rules, auto add notes, responders and incident tasks.

To integrate Raygun with Xurrent IMR, complete the following steps:

In Xurrent IMR:

  1. To add a new Raygun integration, go to Teams on Xurrent IMR and click on the team you want to add the integration to.
  2. Next, go to Services and click on the relevant Service.
  3. Go to Integrations and then Add New Integration. Give it a name and select the application Raygun from the dropdown menu.
  4. Go to Configure under your Integrations and copy the Webhook URL generated.

In Raygun:

  1. Sign in to Raygun, and go to Integrations-> Webhooks
  1. On the Webhooks Integrations page, click on the Setup tab and aste the url you copied earlier.
    Make sure to check the Enabled box and save changes.
  1. Navigate to the Setup page and follow the instructions to set up Real Time User Monitoring and or Crash Reporing.
    As an example, we have set up Crash Reporting.
  1. Raygun is now integrated and corresponding alerts will be sent as Xurrent IMR incidents.
