Sera AI – Microsoft Teams Bot Installation Guide
Follow the steps below to upload and install the Sera AI app in Microsoft Teams:
1. Upload Custom app in Teams
- Open https://teams.cloud.microsoft/
- In the left sidebar, click Apps
- Scroll down and click Manage your apps (or Upload an app)
- Click Upload an app
- Choose one:
- Upload a customised app
- Submit an app to your org (IT to review & approve)
- Select your app package (.zip file - shared by Xurrent team)
- Upload it
- Click on add to complete the installation
9. Popup will be shown Sera AI Added successfully.
2. Generate Tenant ID
- Open the installed Sera AI app in Teams
- Run the /tenantid command
- Copy and save the Tenant ID returned by the bot
Note : This Tenant ID is required for configuring the Microsoft Teams Bot App in Xurrent.
3. Installing the Microsoft Teams Bot App in Xurrent (QA):
1. Login to your Xurrent QA & Open the Xurrent App Store and locate the Microsoft Teams Bot app & Click on ADD
2.In the configuration screen, enter the Tenant ID obtained from Microsoft Teams
Once you click Save, the bot will be available in Microsoft Teams.
Test the setup by sending a few commands in the chat to ensure it is functioning properly.
