Sera AI – Microsoft Teams Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to install the Sera AI app in Microsoft Teams:

1. Install Sera AI in Microsoft Teams

  1. Open https://teams.cloud.microsoft/.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Apps.
  3. Search for Sera AI.
  4. Select Sera AI from the search results.

       5.On the app details page, click Add to install the app.

  1. After the app is installed, you can choose whether to add Sera AI to one or more channels in your Microsoft Teams account.

7. Click on the Open Button

2. Generate Tenant ID

  1. Open the installed Sera AI app in Teams
  2. Run the tenantid command
  3. Copy and save the Tenant ID returned by the bot

Note : This Tenant ID is required for configuring the Microsoft Teams Bot App in Xurrent.

3. Installing the Microsoft Teams Bot App in Xurrent (QA/Prod): 

  1.    Log in to your Xurrent QA or Production environment.
  2.    Open the Xurrent App Store, locate the Microsoft Teams Bot app, and click Add.
  1.    In the configuration screen, enter the Tenant ID obtained from Microsoft Teams

Once you click Save, the Install Code will be displayed. Copy the Install Code, as it will be required to configure the integration in Set Up Sera AI.

Next, open Sera AI in Microsoft Teams and send a "Hi" message. The Set Up Sera AI form will appear with the following required fields:

  • Install Code (copied from Xurrent)
  • Region (select the region where the Teams Bot App is installed)
  • Environment (select the environment where the Teams Bot App is installed)

After completing all three fields, click Connect. Once the connection is successful, you will see the message: "Setup Complete"

Your Sera AI setup is now complete, and you are ready to start using the application.
