Lifecycle Reviews
Turn configuration item date fields into a queue of warranty and renewal reminders.
Lifecycle reviews turn the date fields on a configuration item into a queue of reminders, routed to a receiver ahead of warranty, end-of-support, or refresh dates, so nothing lapses unnoticed.
How it works
- Populate lifecycle date fields on your configuration items, for example warranty expiry, end-of-support, or planned refresh.
- Define a review tied to a Date Field. The review generates a Pending item ahead of each date and routes it to a receiver.
- Work the queue. Each review row ties a configuration item to a product, the date field it watches, the date value, the days remaining, its status, and the receiver. Reviews move from Pending to Completed as they are handled.

Two common engines
- Hardware: warranty and refresh. Populate warranty expiry and planned refresh dates on your physical assets, and let the reviews surface devices approaching end of warranty or due for replacement.
- Software: renewal and end-of-support. Track renewal and end-of-support dates so you see them coming rather than discovering them after the fact.
Before reviews will generate
The tab stays empty until configuration items carry lifecycle dates. If you recently stood up the module, populate those dates first, either during import or in bulk afterward, then define the reviews.
