Insights & updates from our experts
Earlier this year, Xurrent Support Chat was introduced, which allows end users in Xurrent Self Service to chat with specialists of the first line support team. The notifications for incoming chats and chat messages have now been improved, and notification settings have been added for individual users to customize the experience.

When a new chat request arrives, members of the support team now receive a short sound alert and a desktop notification. For each new message, another (different) sound alert can be produced.
These notifications can be controlled individually from the new ‘Chat Settings’ section in the personal settings, which can be accessed by selecting ‘My Profile’. Specialists can find these settings after clicking their avatar, in the top-right of the menu bar.

Chat notifications can be configured per user for private chats (Xurrent Connect) and support chats separately.
