Raynet CMDB – Xurrent App Installation & Configuration Guide
This guide explains how to install and configure the Raynet app in Xurrent to securely synchronize Devices data from Raynet into the Xurrent CMDB with automated updates.
Overview
The Raynet integration enables seamless synchronization of Devices data from Raynet into Xurrent. Once configured, the app automatically fetches and updates device information, ensuring the CMDB remains accurate and up to date.
Prerequisites
Before starting the installation, ensure that:
- You have permission to install apps in Xurrent.
- You have access to a valid Raynet account.
- You have the required Instance & API Key
- The Raynet app is available in the Xurrent App Store.
Step 1: Install the Raynet App in Xurrent
- Log in to your Xurrent account.
- Navigate to the Xurrent App Store.
- Search for Raynet.
- Locate the app with Provider: Xurrent.
- Click Add.
- Click Install App to begin the installation.

Step 2: Configure the Raynet App
- After installation, open the Raynet app.
- Navigate to the Configuration tab.
- Ensure the app status is set to Enabled.
- Select the appropriate Customer Representative.
- Under the Config section, provide the following details:
- Raynet Instance
- API Key
- These values must be obtained from your Raynet account.
- Click Save

Step 3: Data Synchronization
- Once the configuration is saved, the app initiates the synchronization process.
- Devices data from Raynet is synced into Xurrent CMDB based on the configured settings.
- The sync process runs automatically as per the integration logic.
Execution Summary :
The Execution Summary provides a complete overview of the latest integration run, including synchronization results, errors, and missing configuration items.
Note: This integration runs automatically once per day.
Execution Status: Shows the results of the most recent execution, including the current status and, in case of failures, the reason for failure.
Example:
- Status: Completed at Tue, Oct 21, 2025, 20:30 UTC
Execution Output:
Displays the results of the most recent execution, including timestamps, statuses, and any error messages. Example:
- Total Devices Found Since Last Sync: 0
- Total Configuration Items (Updated/Created): 0
- Total Errors: 0
Errors:
- Lists any errors that occurred during the last execution.
Missing OS Configuration Items:
- Shows OS configuration items detected on devices that are not yet present in Xurrent.

These details help verify the success of the synchronization and identify any issues that may require attention.
Result
After successful synchronization:
- Raynet Devices data is securely available in Xurrent.
- Configuration items are created or updated automatically.
- The CMDB stays accurate and up to date.
- Errors (if any) are clearly reported for troubleshooting.
Notes & Best Practices
- Ensure the Instance and API Key are valid and active.
- If the sync reports errors, review the execution output for details & create a support request in Xurrent
