Track Successful Changes and Projects in Dashboards

Line and bar graphTo allow organizations to track the success of their change and project management processes more easily, two reports have been added to the ‘Reports’ section of the Analytics console.  These reports track the following KPIs:

  • Successful Changes
  • Successful Projects

These KPIs could already be found in the ‘KPIs’ section of the Analytics console, but having them available as standard reports makes it possible to place them on dashboards.  It also allows their date range to be much longer and there are more filters available for standard reports.

In fact, one more filter has been added for project views and reports.  It is the ‘Completion reason’ filter, which gives portfolio and program managers the ability to look for successfully or unsuccessfully completed projects.  Successfully completed projects have the completion reason ‘Complete’, while completed projects with a different completion reason are considered unsuccessful.  The ‘Completion reason’ filter was already available for change views and reports.
