Improved Reporting on Time Spent
The time spent reports have been restructured. Rather than having one set of reports for time spent on requests and a separate set of reports for time spent on tasks, the list of time spent reports has been reduced to:
- Time Spent
- Time Spent by Team
- Time Spent by Person
- Time Entries
- Time Entries by Team
- Time Entries by Person
- Cost of Time Spent
- Cost of Time Spent by Team
- Cost of Time Spent by Person
These reports are considerably more powerful, because they can be filtered by the type of record that the time entries are linked to. This allows these reports to be filtered by:
- Request,
- Problem,
- Change task,
- Project task, and/or
- Time allocation.
Note that if one of the old reports was included in a dashboard, it will have been replaced by its equivalent new report with the correct filter so that the report still provides the same information as before.
In addition to making it possible to filter the reports that are based on the time entry data by record type, two new time spent reports have been introduced:
- Time Spent by Time Allocation
- Time Spent by Time Allocation Group
