Automatically Archive Knowledge Articles
A new knowledge management feature has been released. This new feature makes it possible to ensure that a knowledge article will no longer be available from a certain date. This can be useful, for example, when a knowledge article provides information about tax regulations that will soon expire, or when a part of a service is scheduled to be discontinued in the near future.
To specify when a knowledge article must be archived, a knowledge manager can place the knowledge article in Edit mode and select the date in the new Archive date field.
If a knowledge article has not yet been validated, any specialist can suggest a date in the Archive date field.
A knowledge article’s status is automatically updated to ‘Archived’ at the start of the day selected in the Archive date field, i.e. at 00:00 in the time zone of the account in which the article is registered.
