The table below lists the fields of the Knowledge Article Template form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.
Field Label Utilization Guideline Subject
The Subject
field is used to enter a short description that needs to be copied to the Subject
field of a new knowledge article when it is being created based on the template.
Disabled
The Disabled
box is checked when the knowledge article template may not be applied.
Service
The Service
field is used to select the service for which the knowledge article template is made available.
Service instances
The Service instances
table field is used to add service instances for which this knowledge article template is made available.
UI extension
The UI extension
field is used to select the UI extension that is to be added to a knowledge article when the template is applied to it.
