The table below lists the fields of the Effort Class form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.
Field Label Utilization Guideline Name
The Name field is used to enter the name of the effort class.
Examples:
- Non-Billable Support – Business Hours
- Billable Consulting – Overtime
Disabled
The Disabled box is checked when the effort class may no longer be related to any timesheet settings .
Cost multiplier
The Cost multiplier field is used to specify the number by which a person’s cost per hour amount needs to be multiplied when a time entry is registered that is related to the effort class.
Service Offerings Service Offerings
The Service Offerings field is used to select the service offerings to which the effort class needs to be related so that it becomes available for selection when work should be invoiced to a customer of a related SLA .
Timesheet settings Timesheet settings
The Timesheet settings field is used to select the timesheet settings to which the effort class needs to be related so that it becomes available for selection when people , who belong to an organization that makes use of one of these timesheet settings, register their time.
