Welcome to Xurrent Help. This is your online reference that describes the functionality offered by the Xurrent service. To get started, select a topic that you want to know more about from the navigation pane on the left.
The table below lists the fields of the Team form and provides utilization guidelines for each field.
Field Label Utilization Guideline Picture
The Picture
field is used to add a picture or logo of the team.
Click on the picture to enlarge it or to change it.
Name
The Name
field is used to enter the name of the team.
Examples:

- Operations
- Network
- Database Administration
- Unix Servers
- Application Development
Disabled
The Disabled
box is checked when the team may no longer be related to other records.
Coordinator
The Coordinator
field is used to select the current team coordinator for the team. Only members of the team can be selected in this field.
The person who is selected in the Coordinator field will receive all of the team’s assignments (i.e. requests, problems and tasks) that are not assigned to a specific member in his/her inbox. Note, however, that not all teams work with a coordinator whose role it is to distribute the team’s workload among its members. When the Coordinator field is left empty, all of the team’s assignments that are not assigned to a member will be listed in the My Inbox of each member of the team.
Auto-assign
The Auto-assign
box is checked when requests should be automatically assigned to the members of the team, based on an algorithm that includes out-of-office, away settings, work hours, team hours, holidays and targets. This setting can be used both with and without a team coordinator.
Manager
The Manager
field is used to select the manager or supervisor of the team. This person is able to maintain the information about the team. The manager of a team does not need to be a member of the team.
Configuration manager
The Configuration manager
field is used to select the person who maintains the information about the configuration items that the team supports.
Work hours
The Work hours
field is used to select a calendar that defines the work hours during which the team is available for work on all types of assignments.
Do not include the hours during which the team is available only for incident resolution, or the maintenance windows during which the team will only implement changes.
Time zone
The Time zone
field is used to select the time zone that applies to the selected work hours.
Remarks
The Remarks
field is used to add any additional information about the team that might prove useful.
This field allows basic text formatting .
Members
The Members
table field is used to relate the people who are a member of the team.
Agile board
The Agile board
field is used to select the agile board of the team. Any work assigned to the team is automatically placed in the first column of the selected agile board.
Inbound Email Allow inbound email directly to this team
The Allow inbound email directly to this team
box is checked when an inbound email address needs to be made available for the team.
Inbound email address
The Inbound email address
field is used to specify an email address for the team. When an email is sent to this email address, a new request gets generated and assigned to the team. For more information about inbound email, please visit the Xurrent Mail API documentation.
